Our Goals

Getting In TOuch With Our Roots

We strive to provide an increase of access to hands-on and land-based experiences of Omamawi’ininiwag traditional knowledge, values, histories, and contemporary experience.

Building Relationships

Enhancing cultural awareness and relationship building through activities that facilitate the transmission of collective knowledges and values, while also promoting inter-generational relations between families and communities at large.

Increasing Capacity and RESPONSIBILITY

Building capacity and encouraging responsibility in individuals, families and communities through value-based dialogue, leadership and collective action.

Empowerment and Confidence

We support reciprocal sharing and communication of knowledge, empowering the voice and presence of both Omamawi’ininiwag and regional Indigenous people.
